Ocala Florida weather Report for October 2012
October is a transition month here in Ocala. It is the end of both the wet season that started in late May and the last month of hurricane season. This year we had a very rainy wet season and an almost nonexistent hurricane season. We needed the rain and never need hurricanes so this is a good thing. October is also the month when the humidity goes away. It will stay dry from late October until mid May. Temperatures will dip below 90 for the first time since May. Nights will get down into the 60’s by the end of the month. We are also entering a time when you don’t need AC or heat and you can save on the electric bill.
