After the coldest December and January I have seen since moving to Ocala in 2004 the first week of February the weather went to the opposite extreme. From the first week through the end of the month daily temperatures were 10 degrees above normal with most days approaching 80 and some above that. The grass has turned back to green and the azaleas are in bloom. February was like an early spring. Then just as suddenly the first week of March we returned to normal. Normal for March is no humidity, very little rain at all and temperatures in the low 70’s warming as the month goes on. The sun shines almost every day in March in Ocala.
